Julia L. Myers passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the age of 89.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2024 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Julia was born on May 29, 1934 to the late Hardy and Bernadine Derrick Field in Bayview, Texas. She graduated from Texas City High School and attended North Texas State College where she earned her Bachelor Of Business Administration Degree. Julia’s hobbies included ballroom dancing, reading, watching western movies and watching sports on tv. She retired from Lockheed Martin after 26 years of dedicated service. Her greatest passion was being around family and cooking for them. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be deeply missed.
Julia is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Alice Perry; and brother, Hardy L. Field Jr.
Survivors: Son, Eddie Myers and wife, Sharon; son, Keith Myers and wife, Renee; granddaughter, Kristin Pendleton; grandson, Keith Lane Myers Jr.; grandson, Brian Lee Myers; granddaughter, Devin Marie Gentry; granddaughter, Amanda Kathryn Gallegos; granddaughter, Brooke Rose Branford and husband, Beau; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous friends.
