Julia T. Prochaska, age 95, passed away on December 24, 2024. She was born on October 21, 1929 in Cleveland to the late Albert and Alice Ceccardi. She was a homemaker who loved children, she was a mother to everyone who met her. Julia was a professional baker with many culinary skills. Julia worked at the Federal Reserve Bank and then later in life worked at TJ Maxx for many years.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert, son, John and siblings, Joseph, Ernesta, Mary, Alice and Helen; she is survived by her sons, Robert and Richard; grandchildren, Tiffany (Mario) Nemr, Samantha (Chad) Mitchell, Katie (Aaron) Stevens, Joseph (Cassie) Prochaska and India Prochaska; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Tina Prezenkowski and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 10:30am-12:30pm Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1676 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd. Copley. Interment to follow at Copley Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Village of St. Edwards-Wadsworth.
