Julia Lorraine Reed, 53, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 2:45 pm, Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Wellbrooke of Wabash. She was born on June 14, 1972, in Wabash, to Carl Roger and Kathy (Jahnel) Doran.
Julia was a 1990 graduate of Wabash High School and received her Associates Degree from Vincennes University. She married Randy David Reed in Wabash on October 3, 1998. Julia was a homemaker and a member of the Wabash First United Methodist Church. She especially enjoyed shopping, family vacations to Disney and Michigan, relaxing at Crystal Lake, celebrating Christmas with loved ones, and visiting the Cherry Hut – each reflecting the happiness she found in family, tradition, and the little moments that meant the most.
She is survived by husband, Randy David Reed of Wabash; two children, Alina Reed of South Bend, Indiana, and Alexander Reed of Wabash; mother, Kathy Doran of Wabash; and her sister, Amy (Ben) Lucker of New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Roger Doran.
There will be visitation for family and friends from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm Tuesday, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.
Preferred memorial is Riley Hospital for Children.
