My husband, Ivan, and I met Julia in pharmacy school around 27 years ago. She was friends with Ivan (aka "cousin" to Julia) first and then became my friend. We connected in so many ways. As the years went by, our friendship became stronger, and she was even one of my bridesmaids in my wedding. She was definitely one of the most entertaining, comical, heartwarming, and selfless persons I have ever known. She exemplified the true meaning of "give the shirt off your back" to anyone in need. One time while she was working as a pharmacist, a woman was crying because she could not afford her daughter's nebulizer machine. So Julia without hesitation purchased the nebulizer machine with her own money. This is just one example of many of how Julia was and always will be. Selfless! We shared a lot of similar viewpoints on topics and about life in general. The last few years of her life, we even opened up to each other more about religion. We both would speak about our faith in JESUS and would remind each other about putting our trust in HIM and finding peace. Ivan and I miss you deeply my dear friend! We know that we will reunite once again one day in Heaven! Until then.......love you Julia!
