Julia "Joyce" Robertson (nee Sivewright) passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 23, 2025 surrounded by family. She was 95.

Julia immigrated to the Bronx, NY in 1961 with her family and had lived in Pearl River for the past 59 years before moving to New Port Richey, Florida in 2023 to live with her daughter Rhona Grinvalds. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was born on February 12, 1930, and grew up in Kirkcaldy Fife, Scotland as one of 11 siblings to Julia and Thomas Sivewright.

Julia is predeceased by her loving husband, James Robertson who passed away in 2021. They were married at Invertiel Parish Church in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland in 1954. She was a doting and loving mother to two children; Fiona and her husband Antonio Moreno of Poughquag, NY, and Rhona and her husband John Grinvalds of New Port Richey, Florida.

Julia was a loving grandmother to Christopher Moreno and his wife Danielle of LaGrange, NY; Julia Lindert and her husband Paul of Putnam Valley, NY; Alexandra Grinvalds of New Port Richey, Florida, and Amanda Grinvalds of Palm Harbor, Florida. She was also a loving great grandmother to Joseph and Arabelle Lindert; and Colton, Paige, and Grayson Moreno. She could always be heard saying 'how did I get so lucky to not only attend the weddings of my grandchildren, but now I have great grandchildren!'

Julia is survived by her sister, Elma Sivewright!

Julia was filled with love, joy, kindness, and generosity in her heart. Her greatest memories in life were traveling around the world with her husband and taking their grandchildren on expeditions in their camper. Julia also enjoyed knitting and never said no to a good whiskey sour drink! A memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
