Unite with us in prayer as we reflect on the life of Mrs. Julia Shackleford, 76, of Kinston, who died Monday, March 9, 2026, while in the comfort of her home.
She is survived by one son, Marvin Earl Shackleford (Barbara), three granddaughters, Precious Shackleford, Briana Shackleford, and Asiana Shackleford, four sisters, Thelma Williams (Larry), Hilda Safford (John), Marie Gardner (Henry), Robin Cannon (Dexter), and two brothers. James Robet Shackleford and Elmer Ray Vaughn, one grandson, Marvin Shackleford Jr., eight great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends, a very special niece, Talana Sott, two very special friends, Mark Lamasney and Dashown Mason.
