Julia Starace Obituary
Born Tuesday, March 22, 1955, in Brooklyn, NY, Julia was the daughter of the late Anthony and Frances Lauro.
Julia was raised in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn, and was a graduate of Sheepshead Bay High School. Julia worked for many years in retail sales, most recently working at Macy's in East Brunswick. In her spare time Julia enjoyed making ceramics, and crocheting. She loved animals, especially her dogs. Julia was a loving and caring woman who will missed by all those that love her.
Julia was predeceased by her beloved son, Peter Justin Starace, who passed in 2021, by her parents, Anthony and Frances Lauro, and by her brother Anthony Lauro.
Julia is survived by her loving companion Patrick McFarland, by her caring sister Linda Cangemi and her caring husband Hugh, by her brother Salvatore Lauro and his wife Marianna, by many loving and caring nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and by Peter D. Starace.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 27, 2023, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday at St Ambrose Church located at 83 Throckmorton Ln Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857.
