Wichita, Kansas -
Julia Wagle, 95, loving wife, mother, grandmother, passed away at home March 24, 2022. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Friday April 1, 2022; Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am, Saturday, April 2, 2022, both at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her devoted husband of 59 years, Sam Wagle; daughters, Karen Gregory and Therese Christian; grandchildren, Nadia, Julia, and Joel. Survived by sons, J. Thomas (Susan), J. Michael, M. Steven, Tony, all of Wichita, and Paul of Berlin, Germany; daughters, Mimi Oglesbee of Wichita, Joan (Don) Wagner of Davenport, IA, Angela Tretbar of Wichita, Nancy (John) Day of Chandler, AZ, and Peggy Watts of Wichita; 53 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Mom leaves us with an undivided faith and great love of family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Blessed Sacrament Endowment c/o Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 124 N. My prayers and sympathy to Julia's family. I met her at coffee and donuts after mass at Blessed Sacrament. I was new to the parish in late summer 2019 and looked around at the tables for a "friendly looking" group to join and share donuts and conversation ... and there was Julia and her regular gang. They welcomed me and it was so nice getting to know her.

You have my sympathy for your loss, and how much she will be missed. Mom's, grandma's like her are hard ones to loose, as they have such a big impact on our lives. She was such a great lady! I had the privilege of seeing and or meeting her at daily mass, at donuts on Sunday..pre-covid. I sure have missed her presence in the front pew these many months. May she rest in eternal peace. May God heal your hearts.
