Julia (Jules) Willacker, age 82, resident of Plymouth, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at UH Samaritan Hospital in Ashland, Ohio. She was born on May 13, 1942 in Ogden, Utah to the late Warren and Helene (Humphries) Pittenger.
Jules was a St. Peter's High School graduate who went on to attend college for a brief time before starting her family. Her faith was present in everything she did and was very important to her. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Plymouth. In her spare time, Jules enjoyed tending to her flower garden, thrift shopping, camping, and swimming. She loved her horses, cats, and her beloved GoodBoy. She loved decorating her house for the seasons. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jules was proceeded in death by her son, Michael Willacker; and brother, Bill Pittenger.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Tim) Strohm; friend like a daughter, Leisa (Sam) Arnold; eight grandchildren, Alex (Hannah) Willacker, Bradley (Shelby) Willacker, Hannah Willacker, Shane (Ariel) Strohm, Chelsea (Derek) Zeiter, Amber Hochstetler, Joshua Hochstetler and Matthew (Julie) Hochstetler; great grandchildren, Bella, Leon, Warren, Kayden, Khloe, River, Peyton and Blakely; two sisters, Karen (Jim) Fox and Kay (Ed) Ault; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends may visit at the Secor Funeral Home in Plymouth, Ohio on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Jules' Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Plymouth, Ohio at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galion, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
