Liz was a loving mother and grandmother who had a passion for children, family, and helping others. She enjoyed volunteering and served for many years with the Family Peace Project in Athens, TX.
She is survived by her son, Johnathan Woods, daughter, Jennifer Maiden, wife of Michael Maiden and grandchildren Tristan, Kayleigh, and Payton Woods, Devon Lewis, Ruby, Alayna, Danny and August Maiden. She also leaves behind a niece Amythest Ortiz and a step brother, and lifelong friend, Tricia Creighton, who will miss her every day.
A memorial service will be held Monday, August 1 at 1pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, La.
