Julia Ellen Wright, 73, of Niles, entered the gates of heaven on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Corewell Health in St. Jospeh, Michigan.

Julia was born to the union of John W. Henry and Dorothy Jean (Duvall) Henry 4-1-1952 in Covington Kentucky. She went to area schools and received her GED from John G. McCloud High School in Lexington, Kentucky. Her mother brought Julia and her sister Janet to Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1959.

She worked at different factories in Benton Harbor and Stevensville Michigan. The last job she had was for Bushie Enterprise in South Bend where she contracted jobs. She met her Night in Shining Armor James Wright in 1997 and they married in July of 1999. She loved to cook, play golf, and go fishing. Julia loved to praise the Lord, she was a member of Lifegate Baptist Church. She loved to hear Reverend Ron Simcox bring the Word of the Lord every Sunday that she could. She retired in 2004 to take care of her husband James.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, her Knight in Shining Armor, James Wright, and her sister Janet Walker. Julia leaves behind, her beautiful daughter, Jennifer Springar of Coloma; granddaughters, Jessica, Katie, Justine and Jillian; friends, Richard and Freddie Jones of Benton Harbor, Brenda Crowder of Watervliet, Wayne and Pam Hagiler of Baroda, her friends at Napier Shell; church family, Sandy Withrow and Georgia; her best friend, her little dog Rocky.

Julia will be laid to rest at North Shore Memory Gardens, beside her loving husband.
