Julian Mars Permenter, III, affectionately known as Trey to everyone, passed away tragically on his 47th birthday, July 9, 2025 as the result of an automobile accident. Born in 1978 in Greenville, he was a son to Julian Permenter, Jr. and Melissa Stevens Permenter. Trey attended Riverside High School in Avon, MS and was currently employed at Ashley Furniture Warehouse as a forklift driver. He had a passion for weightlifting, and he was a loving and devoted father. He was a follower of Jesus and loved attending church.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Huguley officiating. Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his children, son, Gavin Permenter and daughters, Jania Wood, Whitney Stack, and Raegan Permenter; his father and mother, Julian, Jr. and Melissa Permenter; his sisters, Julie Brown (Greg) and Tammmy Wygle (James) of Slocomb, AL; and two aunts, Pat Tidwell and Thomasene Harper.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Bobbie Stevens and Julian Permenter, Sr. and Tomye Dogion; niece, Melissa Lauren Brown; and uncle, Coach Charles Faulkner.

Pallbearers will be Corey Brown, Greg Brown, Scott Brown, Steven Faulkner, Matthew Montgomery and James Wygle.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 12 noon until 12:45 at the funeral home.
