Juliana Rosemary Crose

Juliana Rosemary Crose, age 86 and resident of Maryville, TN, left this mortal life on 13 September 2013, to return home to her Lord Jesus Christ. Of strong Christian faith, she was a member of Union Grove United Methodist Church, Friendsville, TN. Born in Baiting Hollow, Long Island, NY, she lived many years in New Windsor, NY. She graduated the Nurse Corps the day World War II ended and was a registered nurse for some 40 years, serving 24 years at Cornwall Hospital, NY. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Olga Strongman, her sister, Gladys Reid, and brother, Russell Strongman. Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Willard W. Crose of Maryville and children: Beverly Cooper of Stafford, VA, Charles Crose of Clearwater, FL, Sharon Szmidt of Louisville, TN, and Carolyn Clark of Cleveland, TN; 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Union Grove UMC at a future date.
