I just learned this sad news! I'm so sorry for you in the family left behind. I hope you are comforted at this time.

Julie was the biggest champion and supporter of me adopting my 5 kids. More than my admiration of her and her skills as a mom she admired me taking on mine. She loved each of us as if we were her own daughter and grandchildren. She helped me sort through life and navigate life as a new parent. She loved my children and reminded me they were children of god when things got rough.
When my marriage dissolved, she continued to love me and accept me. Julie was indeed a beautiful kind friend when I needed lots of support and inclusion. The world was a better place for her time here.

Your mom really was a special lady. I lived in the farm Hill Ward with her for 10 years. She always made me feel loved and special. I will always remember her kindness -one particular time when she was the Primary President. My daughter turned 8 and since it was a special birthday, she took her - and me - to The Garden restaurant on the top of the Joseph Smith Building. Making people feel loved and special is just one of her gifts. Sending all my love to your family at this difficult time and may you feel the peace of eternity until we meet with dear Julie again!
