Juliann Holt Obituary
Julie Holt, age 86, of Stilwell, Kansas, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, February 21, 2025, at Healthcare Resort of Topeka.
Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 am, Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Queen of the Holy Rosary Wea Catholic Church, 22779 Metcalf Road, Bucyrus, Kansas 66013. Visitation will take from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Mass will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be held at the Holy Rosary Cemetery following the mass.
Julie was born July 19, 1938, in Garnett, KS and grew up in Garnett. She was oldest of three children born to George and Helena Foltz. Julie graduated from Garnett High School in 1956.
Dale Holt and Julie Foltz were united in marriage on June 9, 1956. Together they raised eight children. Julie was very involved with her children, their sports and activities and her beloved Queen of the Holy Rosary parish. Julie’s greatest love was her family and raising her children.
Julie was preceded in death by her husband Dale, her parents, brother, Larry, as well as two of her children, Wade Holt and Terri Dean-Creason.
Julie is survived by her sister Margie Foote and six of her children: Chris (Debi) Holt of Manhattan, IL; Steve (Lorie) Holt of Bucyrus, KS; Marci (Steve) Unruh of Oracle, AZ; Gina (Jerry) Tenbrink of Olathe, KS; Dala Winders of Oro Valley, AZ; and Angela (Shawn) Gamber of Topeka, KS. Julie dearly loved her 18 grandchildren and 28 great grand-children.
The family is deeply appreciative of the care and love given to their mother and father by the excellent care team at Health Care Resorts of Topeka and by Interim Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made payable to Interim Hospice, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, P.O. Box 669, Louisburg, Kansas 66053.
