Julie Jean Faue Welter

Julie Jean Faue Welter, age 54, of Plymouth, MN, earned her wings and made her final journey into glory surrounded by her family March 28, 2023.
Born March 5, 1969, the daughter of Ralph and Diane (Lieder) Faue. She was baptized March 30, 1969 by Pastor Larry Koehn at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover, MN. Julie was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith March 27, 1983 by Pastor Robert Kant at Cross Lutheran Church in Rockford, MN.
She graduated from Buffalo High School in 1987 and went on to study at St Cloud State University.
Julie enjoyed volleyball, dancing, boating, and a variety of outdoor activities; took pleasure in traveling and spending time with family. She loved her cats, collecting miniatures and cooking, many times claiming a dish as a "Julie creation." With her vibrant personality, she was the life of the party and her heartfelt thoughtfulness was felt by many.
On October 5, 2002, Julie Faue and Daniel Welter were joined in marriage at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenfield, MN by Pastor Dennis Strong. God blessed their union with a son, Benjamin and a daughter, Elizabeth.
Julie took pride in watching her children grow and develop their God-given talents, often lovingly boasting of their achievements.
Julie was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fridley where she volunteered with the children's programs.
Survived by her loving husband: Daniel P. Welter; children: Benjamin "Ben" Welter and Elizabeth "Libby" Welter; her mother: Diane Faue; sister: Brenda (Robert) Oberlander; mother-in-law: Carolyn Welter; brothers-in-law: Michael (Jennifer) Welter and Mark (Sharla) Welter; nieces and nephews: Karissa & Austin Oberlander, Brittany Welter, Abbie (Cody) Smith, Jonah & Elliot Welter; great niece & nephews; cousins and other relatives.
Preceded in death by her father Ralph A. Faue, her father-in-law Harold Welter and by her grandparents Vernon & Myrtice Lieder and Harold & Anita Faue.
Funeral Services for Julie Jean Faue Welter scheduled for Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fridley and interment at the Hanover Village Cemetery with Pastor Jason DeShaw officiating.
