Julie Ann Haslem, age 65, of Roosevelt, passed away peacefully at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah on July 19, 2024.
She was born November 1, 1958, in Roosevelt, Utah, the fifth child of eleven to Ray and Isola Haslem of Tridell.
Julie graduated from Union High School. Julie attended Snow College and Utah State University.
She worked for many years at Sprouse Reitz in Vernal. She spent most of her adult life in Bountiful, Utah where she worked at Dick’s Market.
Julie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served many years in the Primary as a Sunbeam teacher, a nursery leader and counselor in the Primary Presidency, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Julie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, cooking and baking. She was always trying new recipes to share with her family. Julie spent her recent years living with and caring for her mother.
She is survived by her mother, Isola Haslem, of Roosevelt; siblings, Beth (James) Goodrich, North Salt Lake; Jean (Ron) Ruiz, Spanish Fork; Wade (Christine) Haslem, Santaquin; Clair (Dana) Haslem, Vernal; Don (Deborah) Haslem, Doris (Phillip) Bertoch, Arlene (Brian) Southam, all of Roosevelt; Sharla (David) Wilcox, Twin Falls, Idaho; sisters-in-law, Kathy Haslem, Bridgeland; JoAnn Haslem, Pebbles, Ohio; 46 nieces and nephews, 68 great nieces and nephews, including her special “Buddy,” Jackson, and 6 great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Haslem and brothers, Keith and Doyle Haslem.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Roosevelt East Stake Center. There will be a viewing prior from 9:30-11:15 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Tridell Cemetery.
