Julie Musgove Logan

Julie Kay Musgove Logan, 70, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on September 5, 1955, in Monmouth, Illinois, Julie spent more than sixty years in Lexington, where she built a family and a life defined by devotion, gentleness, and unwavering care for others.
Julie dedicated over 42 years of her life to the Greater Kentucky Credit Union, a place that became her second home. She worked up until her passing-leaving behind a legacy of loyalty, hard work, and genuine relationships that stretched across generations of members and coworkers.
A woman of deep thoughtfulness and quiet creativity, Julie loved gifting hand-pieced quilts, each one stitched with intention and love. It was always a delight for her to cook for others, making someone's favorite meal, and filling her home with warmth. More than anything, she treasured time with her grandchildren, pouring herself into creating memories, traditions, and moments they will carry for a lifetime. She believed in meaningful gestures, thoughtful surprises, and making sure the people in her life always felt valued and remembered.
Julie is survived by her children, Drew Ashcraft and Kelly Logan Durbin (Michael); her grandchildren Camden (Kelsey Gadd) and Cortlyn Ashcraft (Cortney McCarty); and Parker, Eli, Oliver, and Rory Durbin. She is also survived by her sister Becky Langerman, her brother James Musgove, and her nephews Nathan and Sam Langerman, and Matthew and Mark Musgove. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Bonnie Musgove.
Julie was loved immensely loved by her family and was affectionately known as "JuJu" by many others who adored her.
Visitation will be held at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Road in Lexington on Saturday, November 22nd from 12-2pm, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, Julie requested donations in her honor be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Kentucky in the name of her grandson Rory, and/or to the Lexington Humane Society in the form of adoption sponsorships-two causes she cared for deeply.
Julie's legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and love lived out through simple acts that made a profound impact. She leaves behind a family forever shaped by her tenderness, her strength, and her desire to create memories that last.
