Julie Collis Maddox, 54, of Eatonton, Georgia, entered her Heavenly home on November, 26th, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, and JuJu, Julie's life was a reflection of love, service, and grace.
A member of Wesley Chapel Church, Julie enjoyed crafting, especially making beautiful bows and wreaths. She enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her family. She was a homemaker whose greatest joy was caring for those she loved. Julie treasured every moment spent with her granddaughter, Charlee Wrenn Wilson, whom she cared for daily. Her presence, dependability, and steady love were felt by all who knew her.
Julie is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Bart Maddox, with whom she shared 40 years together; daughters Nellie Wilson (Cameron) and Mattie Bell (William); granddaughter Charlee Wrenn Wilson; mother Martha Collis; sister Renee Rowell; and many beloved nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
A visitation with family will be held on Saturday, December 6th, at 12:30 pm at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel, followed by a service honoring her life at 1:00 pm as loved ones gather to celebrate the beautiful legacy Julie leaves behind.
In her honor, the family warmly welcomes flowers and plants that reflect the beauty and kindness she brought into the world. Because there will be no graveside service, stand-up arrangements are not necessary.
Julie's legacy of faith, family, and unconditional love will be forever cherished, and we take comfort knowing she is safely home in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
