Artie and Family, I'm so sorry that we lost Julie, especially after losing Tom, not even a year. It's just not fair. Julie was a wonderful cook and she would cook meals and bring them to my partner (her brother) Tom when he was fighting cancer. At one point he wouldn't eat anything but boy when she cooked him something he ate it , especially her eggplant parmigiana. She always brightened his day that's for sure. She would always tell him " I'm your favorite sister" and they would laugh. She had a sense of humor like her brother. Family has always been very important to her. She was a wonderful loving daughter. She loved her little dog , Luna, whom I'm sure misses her terribly. And she fought like a lion with grace and hope through this dreaded disease. I will miss you, Julie. You and Artie gave me a lot of comfort the first few days after we lost Tom. I'm sure that you and Tom have connected already and are raising Hell in Heaven. Rest in ever lasting peace. I love this photo of Julie it just shows how much joy and zest for living she had.
