Julie A. Sagert

Julie A. Sagert, 56, a native of Fort Collins, passed away March 20, 2009. Julie was born on December 12, 1952 to Dr. James and Joanne (Ritter) Wickersham in Fort Collins. She graduated from Poudre High School in 1971 and received an Associate's Degree in Business from CSU. Julie married Gary Sagert on December 20, 1971 in Fort Collins. She worked as an independent tax preparer for 33 years. She enjoyed working with her clients and was very dedicated to helping them up to her passing. Julie enjoyed reading, traveling, watching NASCAR, performing volunteer work in schools, and spending time with her grandchildren every Sunday. She was also a member of PEO. Julie is survived by her mother, Joanne (Ron) Morton of Lyons; husband, Gary Sagert of Fort Collins; son, Jason Sagert of Santa Barbara, Calif; daughter, Stacey (Clay) Naughton of Loveland; sister, Janan Lockman of Fort Collins, two grandchildren, Dylan and Brooke Naughton, one step-sister, two step-brothers, nine nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, James A. Wickersham. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, March 27th, 2009, at Allnutt Drake Chapel, 650 W. Drake Road in Fort Collins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Pathways Hospice in care of Allnutt Funeral Services, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
