Julie Taylor Obituary

Julie Fisher Taylor

August 29, 1949 - August 19, 2021

Julie Fisher Taylor, 71, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. She was born on August 29, 1949 to Thomas Kramer and Geraldine Marcoux Fisher.

Julie grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan with her sister, Cheryl, and brother, Tom. She attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart where she made life-long friends. She first met her husband, Steve, when she was 14 years old, through her brother. Julie and Steve were happily married for over 51 years. They lived in Grosse Pointe after they were married before settling in Ohio. Julie was a loving mother of three children: Colleen, Julie, and Stephen. Her joy came from taking care of her family. She loved traditions and gathering together with her family to celebrate. One of her very favorite places to be was up on Lake Michigan with her family and friends at Deer Path Lodge.

Julie was happy to watch her children get married and lovingly welcomed their spouses into her family. Julie was blessed with 11 wonderful grandchildren. She often said she was born to be a grandma. She adored all of her grandchildren and had a special connection with each of them. She loved continuing all of her family traditions for them to enjoy. The most valuable thing she wanted to pass onto her grandchildren was her strong faith.

When she was not spending time with her family, Julie was passionate about volunteering her time to many charities and organizations. She loved helping people, making a difference, and giving back to her community.

Julie truly loved life and was grateful for her many blessings. She lived life to the fullest every day. She made everything happy. Her bright blue eyes, warm welcoming smile, and gentle personality will be forever engrained in our hearts.

We would like to thank all of her caregivers at The University of Michigan, The Cleveland Clinic, The Toledo Clinic, and The Toledo Hospital. We are so grateful for the compassionate care they gave Julie during her five year battle with multiple myeloma

Julie is survived by her husband, Stephen Taylor; children, Colleen (Peter) Demczuk, Julie Hungeling, and Stephen (Allison) Taylor II; grandchildren, Clare Hungeling, Sarah Demczuk, Daniel Demczuk, Emma Hungeling, Charlie Demczuk, Hannah Hungeling, Amelia Taylor, Chloe Hungeling, Stephen Taylor III, Violet Hungeling, and Mary Kate Taylor; brother, Thomas (Sandy) Fisher; and brother-in-law, Rene Coudert. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Cheryl Coudert.

There will be a small private service for the family held at the gravesite.

Memorials may be made to Christ Child Society, Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo Community Foundation, George Washington Ladies Founder Society, or to the Bone Marrow Transplant Center at U of M.
