Julio Talamantez, age 68, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
He was born on July 4, 1957, in Richmond, Texas. Julio was a man of many trades. His strong work ethic and willingness to help others made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was known for his generous heart, his readiness to lend a hand, and the genuine love he showed to family, friends, and even strangers.
Julio lived life in his own way. He enjoyed listening to his music, sharing a cold beer, and embracing each day with authenticity and joy. He was a giver, a helper, and a man who loved deeply. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those around him.
Above all, he cherished his family. He leaves behind his loving daughters, Cristina Talamantez and Cecelia Renteria. He was a proud grandfather to Christopher, Zachary, Ariel, and Bella Renteria, who brought him great joy.
Julio is also survived by his sisters Janie Ortiz-Beckham, Lucy Ramos, Ernestine Avalos, and Virginia Barrera, and his brothers Willie, Lupe, and Gilbert Talamantez. He leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
He was welcomed into eternal rest by God and reunited with his parents, Maria and David Talamantez; his brothers, Felipe, Elicio, David, and Danny Talamantez.
His memory will live on through the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the example he set of kindness, generosity, and living life fully.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
