Julita Irinco Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Healey Mortuary and Crematory on Feb. 19, 2026.
Julita Geronimo Irinco, 77, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, in Salinas, California, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.

A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, Auntie and friend, Julie lived a life rooted in generosity and joy. She is survived by her children, Avelino P. Irinco Jr., Lorenzo (Yolanda) G. Irinco, and Julee (Eric) L. Rarang; her cherished grandchildren, Jaysen, Marissa, Janine, Jaylyn, Eryk, Sophia, Ejaya, and her great grandson, Adan. To them, she was lovingly known as "Gammie" - a name spoken with warmth, laughter, and immeasurable love.

She now reunites in eternal rest with her beloved husband, Avelino Ultra Irinco (2024), and her precious grandson, Jered T. Irinco (2025).

Julie worked faithfully as a secretary at Fort Ord and later with the United States Department of Agriculture, serving with quiet dedication and kindness. But her true masterpiece was her family. She baked cakes adorned with care for birthdays and graduations, crafted decorations by hand, and became known for her intricate bouquets of folded money - small works of art that turned celebration into something unforgettable.

From the sidelines of her grandchildren's games and school events, her voice rang out with pride. Alongside her sister, she earned the joyful title of "senior cheerleaders," always encouraging, always believing. She cheered the loudest, loved the hardest, and celebrated every victory as if it were her own.

Her home was filled with warmth - and with the happy companionship of her beloved dogs, Myla and Makoa, who loved her gentle walks and tender heart.

Julie's life was a gift of encouragement, creativity, and unconditional love. She created beauty from simple things - paper, frosting, folded bills, everyday moments - and turned them into memories that will forever bloom in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

She was deeply loved. She will be deeply missed. And she will be remembered always.

After cremation, she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in a private family ceremony to be held at a later time

I had the pleasure to work with Julie when she worked for NRCS. She was such a gracious individual. Julie was always willing to go the extra mile to get information for the state office. She was a very dedicated, diligent and respected individual. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I am so sorry to see this. She was one of my neighbors I use to stop and talk to her most of the time when she passed in front of our home. I feel for the family. May god cover you all with warm thoughts and happy memories of this lovely lady. She will be missed.
