I had the pleasure of working on some houses with Wayne and his brother Phillip , two of the nicest guys I ever met, Wayne always had a smile on his face! Now they're trimming the halls of heaven together! God Bless Him!

Alice, I just wanted to let you know how much you and Wayne meant to me as wonderful neighbors so many years ago. When ever I would see Wayne after I moved away he would always inquire about my family and their well being. Wayne Kellum will be remembered for his sincere concern for others.

Mrs. Kellum,
I am Emory Newcomb's niece and I wanted to tell you how sorry Howard and I are for your loss. Wayne and his brother did the wood work and trim for us (at Emory's recommendation, of course) in 1995 and afterwards, every time we saw Wayne, it was like he was an old friend. Please know that Wayne will be missed by not only your family, but by all who knew him. He was a good man.

To Mrs. Kellum, the Kellum Family, and especially you Mark:
Our deepest condolences to all of you. We will be "missing and remembering" Mr. Kellum as we would see him and Mrs. Kellum having breakfast at their favorite Hardee's, his always at the football field at HSHS, his coming in the back-door and sitting "up-top" behind the bench at basketball games, but even more our talks of family, kids, and sports. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Mrs. Kellum, Debbie, Jay, and Mark: I am so very sorry to hear about Mr. Kellum's illness and passing. I will always remember him either with a score book under his arm or football chains in his hands running down the sidelines!! Those memories put a smile on my face, I hope they will help you smile again too.

Alice and Children
I have known all of you most of my life, and cannot tell you how much your love and friendship has meant to me, and my family. Alice the loving care you and Wayne extended to my mom over the years means more to us than any words can tell you. Wayne always made sure she was OK. If the blinds did not open in the morning he came to find out why. I remember we returned many a dish to you, that had delivered a home cooked meal when she was not feeling well. Mark was her "boyfriend" and she loved him. You all have a lot of wonderful memories of a wonderful man who cared so much for the people he loved. I remember Wayne as a quiet soft spoken man that knew where his priorities were."Family" his own and extended.
My heart feels your pain and grief, that will always bring a tear to your eye, but a smile to your face. So when you go out tonight look up at the sky, and if you see stars, they are holes in heaven, where he is looking down, letting you know "it's gonna be all right"
I love you
