I am sad to hear of J's passing. His wonderful voice in the Harmonie Church choir was most memorable. And he got us skylights that didn't leak for our chalet at Innsbrook- no small feat.

The officers, membera and alumni of the ROTARY CLUB of Downtown ST. LOUIS mourn the passing of our former president, fellow Rotarian and friend Julius "J" Seidel, Jr.

"J" set the pace for many of his fellow Rotarians with his dynamic, friendly and energetic leadership style during his time as President and during his many years of Rotary membership. He carried that same enthusiasm into many other worthy civic, charitable and community ventures he generously lent his talents to as well.

May "J" Rest in Peace, and may his dear wife and family be consoled with our deepest sympathy and prayers--a distinguished Rotarian fondly remembered by all of us!

Sincerely,
THE ROTARY CLUB of
Downtown ST. LOUIS

So sorry to hear about he passing of Jay. Your family is in our prayers. Enjoyed many 2nd Tuesdays with your Dad at R&R.I have a constant reminder of Jay with the fire retardant shingles he provided for my cabin in year 2000. Jay was passionate about his work, upbeat and a pleasure to be associated with. His infectious laughter and smile will be missed by all.

I was sad to hear of J's passing. He was a man of his word and highly respected in the local construction industry. He was kind and supportive to me as I started my roofing business and became a friend as I ran the business for twenty-five years.
