Married to Margaret Whitehouse and together for 37.5 years. Raised 4 kids together Susan, David, Thomas and Robert, 9 grandkids and 2 great grandkids. She worked at Fairview as a CNA and her last job was a microfilmist for the State of Oregon. Before that she worked as a trucker for her father John Beggs and held many positions in the clerical field. June loved pandas, lamas, dogs, cats and any animal on TV. Favorite TV shows were Dr Pol and National Geographic specials and animal planet. She was an artist and her favorite medium was acrylics. She loved to do crafts and her last months of life were spent crafting with her dear friend Jacki. Before her 3 strokes she would crochet multiple scarves for the homeless. She also suffered from dementia and parkinsons. She loved games especially yahtzee and chess. The oregon coast was her favorite place to visit. June loved studying about earthquakes and tornados and volcanos and visited Mt St Helen's multiple times. San Francisco was her favorite city and she was born there. The 1906 San Francisco earthquake was a passion of hers and she collected postcards and collector plates depicting that topic and Era. Purple was her favorite color even dying her hair purple a few times. June loved to laugh and pull tricks on family and friends. Her great loves in life was her wife Margaret, their children and the Lord. She loved music especially the Beach Boys, Billy Joel, Dolly Parton and Ottis Redding. She made delicious stuffed peppers, cabbage rolls and peanut butter cookies. She never stopped fighting to live and survive even when her struggles became insurmountable. She was a warm loving person who will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. Heaven gained an angel with the sweetest smile and the kindest heart on 9:43pm 2/4/23. Fly free Junebug until we join you in heaven.
