June Elizabeth Bandy of Copperhill, TN, passed away at Erlanger Medical Center on July 17, 2025, following a brief illness.
June was a member of the McCaysville Church of Christ. She also worked at the Fannin County Sheriff's Office as a dispatcher for many years. She also worked at K & S Tank Lines for 20 years where she retired from.
June was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Bandy; mother & father, Mark & Thelma Crumley; two daughters, Anna Louray Smith & Rena Yvonne Bennett; son-in-law, Steve Bennett; great granddaughter, Emily Grace Dollar; and grandson, Kevin Smith.
June is survived by her son, Darren Smith; daughter, Michaela Smith; great grandson Preston Smith; grandchildren, Leah Bennett & family, Brittany Bain & family, Donovan Smith, Tiffany Smith, Garrett & Macy Ball, and J. Michael Ball & family; step-daughter, Pam Ball; step-son, Todd Bandy & family; Norma Thigpen & family; and a host of nieces, nephews & friends survive.
There will be a private graveside service with Rev. Jesse Sisson officiating to be held at a later date.
