June Calvin

June Calvin, 87, of Blairstown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on

January 29, 2026.

June was born on August 8, 1938, in Paterson, New Jersey, to the late

Ralph Lewis and Mildred Cole. She spent much of her life in Citrus

Springs, Florida where she lived for 30 years before relocating to New

Jersey, spending the last five years of her life in Blairstown.

June was employed as a receptionist at Riverside Hospital in Denville,

New Jersey, where she was known for her friendly demeanor and

welcoming presence.

She is survived by her beloved children, her son Jim Billings and his

wife Bernice, and her daughter Georgia Billings of Florida. She was a

proud grandmother to Tracie Dobbins (Nick) and Dana Ritcher

(Peter), and a cherished great-grandmother to Kasey, Kaia, & Gavin.

June was predeceased by her sisters, Gertrude Grabowski and

Irene Melillo.

She had a deep love for Atlantic City and the excitement of gambling,

and she greatly enjoyed traveling, especially to Cape Cod and Cape

May. Some of her happiest moments were spent walking the boardwalk,

soaking in the sights, sounds, and ocean air.

June will be remembered for her love of family, her adventurous spirit,

and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. She will be deeply

missed by all who knew and loved her.
