June was a homemaker and an active volunteer for Gilda's Club, The American Cancer Society and Kirk in the Hills. Beloved wife of the late Charles (Chuck). Loving mother of Sharon Knight, Sara Bernardin (Jim) and the late Susan. Proud grandmother of Jim III, Kelsey, and Riley Bernardin and Kelly, Patrick and Kara Reynolds. Dear sister of the late Leland (Lee) and Shirley Soares. Also survived by many relatives and friends in California and Michigan. Memorial service Thursday 11a.m. at Kirk in the Hills, 1340 W. Long Lake Rd., Bloomfield Hills. Memorial tributes to Foundation Fighting Blindness, P.O. Box 17279, Baltimore, MD 21298-9581 or the American Cancer Society, 18505 W. Twelve Mile Rd., Southfield, MI 48076.
