June Danowsky Obituary
Born in Milton on June 29, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Kathryn V. (Miller) Kerstetter. She was married to Harold P. Danowsky Sr.
June was a 1960 graduate of Milton High School and had worked for Zenith, Jasper Wood Products and retired from Pennsylvania House. She was an avid reader, loved playing cards with family, doing puzzles, cooking and baking, and watching the Steelers. She especially loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, they were the light of her life.
In addition to her husband Harold Sr., she is survived by a daughter and son in law Melody J. and Don Kleckner of Lewisburg, a son and daughter in law Harold P. Jr. and Kenda Danowsky of New Columbia, three grandchildren Kathryn R. Von Blohn (Bryan), Trevor R. Danowsky (Stephanie), and Zachary D. Kleckner ( Meghan), three great grandchildren Mason Kleckner, Aubree Kleckner, and Bailee Danowsky, and two sisters Dorothy J. Von Blohn of New Columbia, and Sharon L. Erb of Milton.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Darcie A. Kleckner, five sisters Winifred M. Laubach, Florence B. Hayes, Kathryn V. Keiser, Mary Ann Brown and Jane Boyer, and seven brothers Elwood J. Kerstetter, John R. Kerstetter Jr., Herbert M. Kerstetter, Dale R. Kerstetter, Charles R. Kerstetter, Kenneth R. Kerstetter, and Ralph D. Kerstetter.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Church Hill Cemetery, Lewisburg, with Pastor Mark Erb officiating.
