June Eileen Foltz, 88, of West Salem, passed away on August 29, 2025 at her residence.
June was born June 1, 1937 in Shreve, Ohio to Calvin Emery and Hazel Elizabeth {Yockey} Shriver.
June graduated from Shreve high school.
She married Ernest Foltz on May 6, 1956, he passed away on August 4, 2024. Together they celebrated 68 years of marriage.
June helped on the farm and went to farm sales for many years. She also worked at Freedlanders Department Store. She attended to Emmanuel United Church of Christ. June and Ernie were members of the Wooster Hobos Camp Club for many years. They enjoyed traveling, and they visited every state in the U.S. except Hawaii. June enjoyed word searches and playing freecell on the computer. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening. Above all, she loved her family and caring for her grandkids and great grandkids.
June will be deeply missed by her son Dennis Foltz of West Salem and daughter Tammy (Thomas) Hunter of Marshallville; grandchildren Molly (David) Zacour of Wooster and Matthew (Marcy) Hunter of Canal Fulton; great-grandchildren Catherine, Nathaniel and William Zacour. June was preceded in death by her husband Ernest; twin sons Brian and Bruce Foltz and her siblings.
Friends may call Wednesday September 3, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Thursday September 4, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/June-foltz) with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating.
