I knew June for 42 years. June was the kindest, most good-hearted and gracious woman I have ever met. So welcoming and caring. Always had a smile on her face and always glad to see you. My wife had the pleasure of knowing June for the past 32 years. Time was, we would take June and Herb out to a restaurant for their birthdays. Amanda and I always tried to find a special dinner spot. Something out of the ordinary. We never told them where we going until we got there. And when the cat was out of the bag, her excitement was so special. Like the Dinner Train. So many memories.
Rest in peace, June Hamby. You've given me and Amanda great memories for a lifetime. Deepest sympathies to David and Judy, and their families.
