June (Marchbanks) Kajzer, 88, of South Bend passed away on Sunday September 7, 2025, at her home.

June was born in Gastonia, NC on July 3, 1937, to the late Derrell and Nora (Malone) Marchbanks.

On June 1, 1957, she married Thomas Kajzer, sharing 60 years of marriage before his passing in 2018.

June obtained her associate's degree and worked as a laboratory technician for the South Bend Medical Foundation for 35 years, retiring in 2002. She was loved and cared deeply for her coworkers and her profession and spoke highly of her work for years after retirement. She also loved to play bridge and spend time with her children and grandchildren.

June will be missed by her sons, Thomas "Kelly" Kajzer and Christopher (Rebecca) Kajzer as well as her grandchildren, Kayley Kajzer and Kyley (Liam) Dobbin.

June was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Visitation for June will be held from 10am-11am on Friday September 12, 2025, at St. Matthews Cathedral1071 Miami St. South Bend. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Poilsh Roman Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Cross Athletic Association to St. Matthews Cathedral 1071 Miami St. South Bend, IN 46614.
