June L. (Meyer) Kirschner passed away peacefully at home on November 10, 2025.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2025, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ravenna with Pastor Russell Bonine officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Ravenna. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the church. Online condolences can be directed to www.rasmussenfh.com.
June L. (Meyer) Kirschner was born on January 18, 1938, in North Shelton, Nebraska, to Edwin and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Ahrens) Meyer.
She attended Ravenna Public Schools, graduating in 1955. June earned a teaching certificate from Kearney State Teachers College and taught at District 51 Country School during the 1955 school year, and at District 52 during the 1956 and 1957 school years.
On September 21, 1958, June was united in marriage to Kenneth L. Kirschner at Zion Lutheran Church in North Shelton. Following their marriage, the couple farmed southeast of Pleasanton before moving to Ravenna in 1966, where together they owned and operated Kirschner Implement for more than 53 years.
June was a devoted member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ravenna where she and Ken lovingly raised their family in the Chirstian faith.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Vicki) Kirschner; daughters, Sharon (Bob) Peters and Deb (Gary) Loeffelholz; grandson, Craig (Tess) Kirschner; granddaughters, Hannah (Matthew) Baye and Elizabeth Kirschner; and great-grandson, August Baye. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Arlene Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; brothers, Reuben, Roy, and Garnett Meyer; sisters, Loretta Arnold and Vernetta Trubl; and infant grandson, David Kirschner.
