June A. Kueper, age 92, passed away on June 23, 2022. She was born April 14, 1930, in Menominee, MI, to Louis and Irene (Gordon) Treptow. She was a graduate of Menominee High School, and worked at Northern Abstract in Green Bay for a number of years and in the claims office at State Farm Insurance for 17 years.
June married Clement Kueper in 1950 in Menominee. They were married for 71 years before Clem passed away last December. They raised three children, Sharon (Rick) Schaffer, Bruce (Cindy) Kueper, and Kathy (Bob) Waldorf. She is grandmother to eight grandchildren, Eric, Larisa, Becky, Erin, Kelly, Bobby, Emily, and Brett; two step-grandchildren, Tricia and Nicki; and 17 great-grandchildren.
June was a volunteer at Aurora Hospital and helped with funeral luncheons at Resurrection Church. June and Clem were residents of Green Bay for 45 years and moved to the Marinette area after retirement. They were also residents of Florida for 14 years. They returned to De Pere in 2000. Over the years they did considerable traveling, going to most of the United States, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Central America.
June was noted for her cooking and baking skills, especially her desserts. She enjoyed reading and word games like the word jumbles in the Press Gazette. She also did many card games on the computer and enjoyed frequent coffee meetings with friends at McDonald's.
June was preceded in death by her husband Clem, her parents, and many aunts and uncles.
Visitation for June will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez on Tuesday, June 28, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Tom Reynebeau officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Good Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum.
