June Marhanka

The family of Alfred G and Mary V Moren has closed the last chapter of their family with the passing of June Marhanka. She passed away on August 3, 2022, at Forest Path at the Lutheran Community Home in Seymour, Indiana. She was 96.
June was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church in Seymour. She was a homemaker, and the last few months of her life was spent at Forest Path where she enjoyed her surroundings with a caring staff. June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a great friend to those who knew her. She loved talking, joking, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children; Larry (Faye) Marhanka, Margie Marhanka, and Darin (Ginny) Marhanka, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded by her husband of 73 years, Paddy Marhanka; her parents Alfred and Mary Moren, brother Lloyd Moren, sisters; Madge Moren, Loveda Keating, Iris Govatsos, Irma Dickerhoof, and her twin sister Janet Hooks.
Visitation will be held on Saturday August 6, 2022, at Voss and Sons Funeral Service from 10 am until the time of service at 12 pm with Rev. Teresa Poole officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
