Central City- June Vondell Perry 75, of Central City died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Perry was born September 28, 1939 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Powderly Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilber and Peggy Shemwell and a sister Shirley Strange. Survivors include her husband Lucky Wayne Perry, sons; Doyle and Hudson Perry of Central City, daughter; Kimberly(Michael)Anderson, grandchildren; Benjamin(Anderea)Anderson of Central City ,Jonathan(Shelby)Anderson, of Greenville, Bethany(Bo)Ritchie of Penrod, Adrianne and Hunter Perry of Central City, great-grandchildren; Carson, Matthew,& Jaxson Anderson, Abigail, Caleb, Jasmine,Nate, Emma, Isabella, & Elliona Richey, Brothers; Larry(Tilda)Shemwell of Drakesboro, Lonnie(Amber) Shemwell of Nelson Creek, Ronnie(Debbie)Shemwell of Central City, Keith(Sharon)Shemwell, of Nelson Creek, Marty(Phyllis)Shemwell of Tenn. Kevin(Lisa)Shemwell of Bowling Green, sisters; Joyce Cory of Central City, Beverly(Eugene)Uzzle of Nelson Creek, Gail(Charles)Grogan of Bremen, Diann(Gary)Joines of Nelson Creek, Deborah(Bill)Morris of Central City, Vicky(Donnie)Avery of Nelson Creek, Funeral services will be Tuesday March 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Powderly Holiness Church, with Bro. Michael Anderson officiating and assisted by Bros. Larry Shemwell and Joe Ball. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be Monday March 23, 2015 after 5PM at the church.
