Obituary published on Legacy.com by Coats Funeral Home - Waterford on Jan. 19, 2026.
JUNE PUTERBAUGH
Passed peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in Richfield Township at the age of 78, surrounded by God's grace and love.

June was born to the late William and Alice (Noell) Lafnear. She was the beloved wife of the late Barry Puterbaugh, with whom she shared 28 years of marriage grounded in love, faith, and companionship.

A devoted mother and grandmother, June leaves behind her children: Marvin (Suzie) Phillips, Mike Phillips, Jodi (Stephanie) Phillips, and Jason Scott (Chelsea) Hall. She was a cherished grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of five, each of whom brought her great joy and purpose.

June was the dear sister of Georgette (Roy) Fultz and the sister-in-law and lifelong best friend for 70 years to Jan (the late Tom) Lafnear. She is also lovingly remembered by her partner, Bill Hall.

A faithful servant of the Lord, June was a devoted member of the Clarkston Community Church family for 22 years. Her faith was evident in her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for others. She found comfort and strength in her church community and lived her life as a reflection of Christ's love.

Visitation will be held at COATS FUNERAL HOME - WATERFORD on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
June will lie in state on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM at Clarkston Community Church, 6300 Clarkston Road, Clarkston.
Interment will take place at All Saints Cemetery, Waterford.
