June Raben

Robert and I met in law school, and it became a thing, when was I going to come to Miami and meet his mom.
When I got there, Robert brought me to the Versailles to meet his mom, his sister Karen was there. Karen was dubious of my value as a friend for Robert, but June accepted me more readily, and her grilling of me was less thorough than Karen's. After that, I was an honorary Raben, and though we met and spoke infrequently, June was always kind to me, and touched my hands when we spoke. I loved her, and always asked Robert, first thing when we spoke, for news of June, especially after Murray passed. The news of her passing makes me very sad, and I shall miss her greatly.

Sharon is correct, June, Murray, Milton and Ried were part of our lives for many years, though we did not see much of them in later years. My parents were always excited when the boys were coming to our house in their younger years.
June was a lovely person and hostess when we did get to visit.
I thought I recalled her also having a baking business which she started from her home kitchen! What a busy lady, though not too busy to be attentive to her guests. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, but pleased to have been able to read more about her life, and to relive some of the memories.
I hope we do hear from one of the "children ".

June and Murray were very much a part of our lives and of my parents' lives (Morris and Dena Slep). I am very saddened to learn of June's death. I would love to reconnect with my cousins, if anyone wishes to reach out.

Cindy & I were very sad to hear of June's passing. June was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. We are very happy to have known her and have good memories of the times we were able to spend with her. Our thoughts are with you at this time.
