June L. Samuels

I am a former Phillip Sweed grammar school student. June was in my third grade class. That year she had some health issues and I was gifted with the responsibility to deliver her school work when needed. I moved away from Petaluma while in Junior High. A few years ago June and I reconnected and had a wonderful talk about that year. A special friend indeed! I´ll see you someday in heaven!

June was a special cousin to me, we had many childhood memories together. Onetime, she gave me a small teddy bear that she cherished. I still have it today. That was 60 years ago. Lots of good times with the Petaluma cousins.

My first memory of June was when our dad brought her and our mom from the hospital after June's birth.
