June Weyenberg, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in Lakeland, FL. June was born in Manitowoc, WI on November 15, 1931. She grew up on a farm in Mishicot, WI. She had 2 brothers, Allen and Ellsworth.
She married Robert Weyenberg in 1977. They were married for 30 years until his death in 2007. Robert and June moved from Appleton, WI in the early 1990s to Lakeland FL. During their years of retirement they traveled across North America in an RV and also traveled internationally.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Lakeland, FL for 30+ years.
She is survived by her step children Joan Kobach, Jim Weyenberg, Dick Weyenberg, Deb Jamron, Kathy Dietz, Cindy Gaffney and 12 grand children.
She was preceded in death by her brother Allen Schloff, sister in law Doris, brother Ellsworth Sehloff, sister in law Judith, son Todd Ohm, niece Ginny Lynn, nephew Ronald and husband Robert Weyenberg.
Services for June will be held on Wednesday, February 21 at 11:00 am at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton, Wisconsin. Visitation will begin at 10:00am. She will be placed with her husband at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton, Wisconsin.
