Junior Carver
William Brantley “Junior” Carver Jr., 78, husband of Nancy Judith “Judy” Henderson Carver, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 4, 2023 at his home.
Born August 26, 1945 in Rutherford County, NC., he was a son of the late William Brantley Carver Sr. and Pearlie Irene Hooper Carver. He was retired from Michelin as a Machine Repair Specialist, served our Country in the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Philip Carver (Kelly) of Cowpens, Clayton Carver (Heather) of Chesnee, Jason Carver of Chesnee; sisters, Betty Burns of Winston Salem, NC., Dot Williams (Larry) of Charlotte, NC.; brother, Hubert Carver (Sandy) of Forest City, NC.; grandchildren, Chase Carver and Samantha Carver.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Bonnie Swofford, Jerrie Searcy and brothers, Michael Carver and Raymond Carver.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Graveside services with Military honors will follow at 3:00 p.m. Thursday in Springhill Memorial Gardens with Mr. Larry Williams and Rev. Scott Scrimpsher officiating.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Buck Creek Baptist Church, 506 Buck Creek Road, Chesnee, SC 29323 or to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
