Born on January 19, 1938, in Elwood, Kansas, Junior was the son of Len Perry and Maxine Gorman. He moved to Minneapolis in the mid-1950s to begin work at Armour Packing Company. He was known for his genuine care and compassion for everyone he encountered. Junior had a warmth that made him everyone's favorite, always bringing joy and kindness wherever he went. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, and barbequing-activities that brought him great happiness and created countless cherished memories.
Junior leaves behind his wife, Kaye Perry, and a loving family who will continue to honor his memory: Children: Maxine Perry and Len Perry; Grandchildren: David (Lamar) Jones (wife Jamie) and Raymond (Bryce) Jones, Darren Perry (wife Thu); Great-grandchildren: Dahlia (husband Alex), Ailea, Nya, and Simone Jones, Moné Perry, and August Banh Perry; Great-great-grandchild: Sunny Jones-Hawton; A host of in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Len Perry and Maxine Gorman, and his brother, Donald E. Perry.
Junior will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
