Justin Allen Beanard (1998-2024)
Justin Allen Beanard, 25, of Piedmont, South Carolina passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at his family residence. He was born August 12, 1998 in Columbia, South Carolina to Catherine Spears Richardson and Steven Owens. He was raised by his biological mother, Catherine Richardson, and step-father, Stephen Richardson, while regularly spending time with his biological father, Steven Owens, and bonus mom, Jessica Owens. Justin was loved by a house full of sisters, Patricia Hernandez (Angel), Jasmine Williams (Tyreik), and his twin sister, Jessica Beanard. He luckily found some balance through his brother, Micah Owens and step-brothers Napoleon Richardson and Paris Richardson. For the last 7 years of his life, he was accompanied during his journey with his loving girlfriend Samantha Praytor who cared for him physically and emotionally. He is survived by his grandmothers, Patsy Mount of Parkersburg, West Virginia and Barbara Owens of Piedmont, South Carolina. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and loving cousins. His only nephew, Kyrie Williams, said it best: “I know Justin had a good life because everyone loved him.” He is preceded in death by his grandfather Fulton Dale Spears, Jr. and Wardell Owens Jr.
Justin embraced his creative side throughout his life whether this was through art or gaming. He connected constantly with his family and friends through his gaming. One of his other main loves in his life were his pets. He had a special love for his dogs Fitz and Chunks who provided him love and joy during the last few years of his life.
A celebration and honoring of Justin’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024 at 1:00pm at New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 135 New Pleasant Grove Road Pelzer, South 29669.
In lieu of flowers please provide donations to the Lupus Foundation of America.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, April 17, 2024, 1:00pm, at New Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Pelzer, SC; with interment private.
