Justin Leonard Hoefferle

Of Waupaca, age 34, passed away on January 28, 2023. He was born in Waupaca on June 19, 1988. Justin was always on the go, earning his nickname, Weasel. Justin struggled with drug addiction and had been sober for three years. He enjoyed fishing whether in a boat, on land or on the ice. He liked goose hunting with Jim, playing video games, and especially time spent with family. He had the best smile and was always there when needed.
He will be missed by his mom and step dad: Phyllis and Jim Barber; his son: Aydin Pouh; sister: Erin (Ryan) Minton; brother: Carsin Barber; step sister: Jayne Barber; nephews: Nethanel and Masson Minton; many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Gale and Penny Cooper, Leonard and Louise Hoefferle, father, Gary Hoefferle, aunts, Kathy Minks, Star-Lynn Sabel and Christie Smith, cousin, Jacob Cooper. The family would like a special thank you to his aunt and uncle Todd and Mindy for their extra love and support during his sobriety.
The Memorial Service will be on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. Friends and family may gather on Friday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
