Hamilton Funeral Home - AugustaJustin “JB” Miller, 58, of Colchester, IL passed away at 9:33 am Saturday November 22, 2025 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
He was born on June 14, 1967 in Carthage, IL to Donald and Iris Clark Miller.
JB was a graduate of Colchester High School, he was employed at the Bentley and Colchester Elevators. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved his dogs, Mandy and Toby.
He is survived by his mother, Iris Creasy of Colchester, IL, a son, Steven (Brittney) Miller of Durham, MO, a daughter, Ashley Miller of Springfield, IL, 3 grandsons; Fletcher, Henry and Lincoln Miller, 5 brothers; Dave “Dee” Miller and Rick Miller of St. Mary’s, IL, Eric “Pam” Miller of Plymouth, IL, Dean “Tammy” Miller of Murryville, IL and Aaron “Joyce” Miller of Augusta, IL, 2 sisters; Nannette Miller of Lonoke, AR and Ann Keefauver of Macomb, IL and numerous nieces and nephews survive.
He was preceded in death by his father Donald, his step-father, Bud Creasy and a brother-in-law, Phillip Keefauver.
Cremation has been accorded. There will be no formal visitation, but friends may sign the register book from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm Thursday December 4, 2025 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Mary’s cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
