Justin Ternus Obituary

Published by Legacy on May 14, 2025.
Justin James Ternus, 52, of Ramsey, passed away unexpectedly in the arms of his beloved wife at their home on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, due to chronic heart-related conditions.
He was the beloved father of Brittany (Thomas) Perowitz and Jake Ternus, stepfather of Alexandra Yehle, husband of Michelle Ternus, son of Michael and Debra Guthmann Ternus and Deborah Loftsgard, brother to Jesse (Toni) Ternus and Jennifer (Daren) Willenbring, uncle to Branden and Lauren Willenbring, Ella and Brody Ternus, Papa to Layla Fritch and a friend to everyone he met.
To know Justin was to love him. He had a sharp wit and a sense of humor that brought laughter into every room he entered. He was always the first person willing to lend a hand; his generosity touched all who knew him. The love he showed his family and friends was evident in everything he did. Justin was a great listener. He didn't just *hear* you, he really listened and offered the best advice with so much wisdom. When he wasn't busy with his food truck, he enjoyed spending time in Perham, Minnesota at the cabin, hunting property and farm.
A service to honor and celebrate Justin's beautiful life will be held on Friday, June 6th, 2025, with a time to share conversation and memories from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and a memorial Service at 3:00 PM. The service will be held at Dare's Funeral and Cremation Services, 805 Main Street NW, Elk River, MN. 55330.
We will carry his memory with us forever and will honor his legacy by living with the same warmth, wisdom, and kindness he gave so freely.
