Spc. Justin W. Pollard

I don't know him but there is a plaque by a tree in our local park with his name on it. I had to look him up and see why he died. He died for this country and is a brave soldier who gave his all for our freedoms. Thank you and your family for this service and I know this post is in 2019 so the plaque is helping his name live on.

It is difficult to know what to say since I want to express my sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Spc Pollard. Please know that your loved one is not forgotten. I wish everyone impacted by this tragic loss strength and peace. I hope that Spc Pollard knew that there are people in America who respect his great courage in serving as a member of the US military. I don't pretend to know what to say or do that would bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I made a special promise to LE RON A. Justin was a great man and a great friend. I called him Sunshine after the guy from Remember the Titans who was from Cali. Thank you for the sacrifice you made so that one day my children wont have to do the same.

I am deeply sorry for your loss.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Pollard family in the loss of Justin. I did not know Justin, but my heart is broken and I am saddened for your loss of such a fine young person and hero. May God bring you peace in your heart as you reflect on all the wonderful memories you hold so close. Please know that you are in my heart and prayers. Justing it has been 27 months since you were taken. You are a hero and you will never be forgotten.

Justin was one of the most real people I ever met. He never fed anyone a line, and was always an awesome guy. I served with him before he left for Iraq and became pretty good friends. Po Lard you will be greatly missed.

He was my brother's best friend, an older brother to me and one of about 30 guys my mother calls son. We love him with all our hearts. J we miss you and live in your honor every day. You saved my life in more ways than anyone will ever know. Thank you!
