Justin Denver Cheyenne Wood, age 40 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away from this life September 27, 2025 near Maud, Oklahoma.
A funeral service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate, and the family will receive guests from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday before the service.
Justin was born July 19, 1985 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Foran Dorsey Stark and Sonya Kay (Black) Hudson. He graduated from Byng High School and became a Directional Driller for the oilfield business. He attended St. Louis Baptist Church, and he loved basketball, baseball, and watching his kids play sports. He married Tamara Peterson November 2, 2009 in Texas.
He is survived by his father, Foran Stark and wife, Willa Kay of Bonne Terre, Missouri, his mother, Sonya Hudson and husband, Charles of Konawa, Oklahoma; his wife, Tamara Wood;two sons, Wyatt Paxton Wood and Waylon James Wood of Konawa; three daughters, Abigale Rayann Wood and Annabel Cheyia Gene Wood of Konawa, and Jada Kay Stephens of Nebo, Oklahoma; three brothers, Joshua Everett Stark and wife, Sarah of Missouri, Jonathan Floyd Dale Wood and wife, Miranda of Missouri, and Jarrode James Dakota Wood and wife, Jessica of Oklahoma; one sister, Cassidy Fent and husband, Jesse of Missouri; three step-brothers, Brent Hilyard of Oklahoma, Brandon Hilyard and wife, Stephanie of Oklahoma, and CJ Hudson of Oklahoma; one step-sister, Jessica Hudson of Oklahoma; and many other family and friends.
